She has contributed to responses during major aviation incidents, mass-fatality events, the COVID-19 pandemic in the UK and US, and the evacuation of Ukrainian refugees where she was responsible for establishing and managing Family Assistance Centres in Poland. Her professional career spans a number of industries, including public sector contingency planning, crisis management software consultancy, and as a responder with UN-classified organisations SARAID and RE:ACT where she also leads humanitarian response across London. At Kenyon International she managed global consultancy programmes and was actively engaged in the operations of crisis management centres during international high-profile incidents for commercial and local government clients. Natalie’s expertise lies in family assistance, welfare support, mental health interventions and personal effects operations. She has participated in United Nations ICAO working groups contributing to positive change in the facilitation of family assistance in aviation and published articles in National Geographic and ERAA Magazine and has presented thought leadership on panels and webinars hosted by the Business Continuity Institute. She holds an MSc in Risk Analysis Disasters and Resilience from King’s College London and focussed her final research thesis on the risk and opportunities for different categories of responders in crises. Her work reflects a commitment to combining technical proficiency with empathy ensuring that responders, survivors and families receive care with dignity.
